These xps files can also be viewed thought browser also. Might be because of this Firefox is trying to open it. Now click on Associate a file type or protocol with a program. Now search for.

I am also having the same problem on a Windows 8. The Windows Reade also can't open the file. Interestingly Google Chrome does not have this problem. I would like a solution to this problem?
